I honestly don’t know where to even start. Gabrielle was an angel sent to my husband and I. We unfortunately had a bad experience beforehand, and a friend of ours connected us with Gabrielle. We took an appointment to visit her at her office, and right in the beginning we knew that she was the one to work with. She was so kind, so hospitable, very understanding, and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She listens to you and what you’re looking for, and shows you exactly that, never trying to go over or below. We went with her to see apartments, and right away we felt that she became our friend rather than it being a “business” transaction. She asked the right questions with the other brokers and pointed things out for us in the apartment that we wouldn’t otherwise consider or realize, especially since Montréal was a new place for us and we didn’t know the streets or what’s a “good location” or not. She told us exactly what’s around us and checked all transportation methods in each location she provided. We had to go back to our country, but she still maintained communication with us even though it took us months to actually move back. She was extremely patient and extremely welcoming, and continued to send us new listings every time when it fit our budget and discussed any questions we had. There was one listing that really peaked our interest, and I felt that it was the one to go for. We told her we were really interested in it and she actually booked an appointment with the owners and went there herself and took videos of the entire place and entire conversation for us! It was as if we were there with her. That was probably the most kind and genuine and professional interaction we’ve ever had. It really helped us see everything we wanted to see and make our decision, and we did! We decided on the listing on that particular condo and she explained the rules and everything that has to do with the next steps we needed to be able to have that condo. The contract was in French and she was kind enough to sit down and translate LINE BY LINE in English for us before we signed. She managed to do everything for us and, for a quite a while, was the middle man between us and the owners and their broker, discussing and managing things and organizing everything to make the move as easy as possible for us. She never complained once, never gave us an attitude once, even though in some instances if I was in her place I would have pulled my hair apart hahaha, and she was simply always kind and smiling! We managed to make our move solely on Gabrielle’s video and recommendation and description of the place and location and everything around us. We trusted her blindly and made the leap, and wow was that leap worth it! The condo is a dream, beyond what we would have dreamed of. It was all thanks to Gabrielle that we are so happy and comfortable in our space. And not only that, after we settled in, we found a welcome letter in our mail from her!
